Heidelberg teaches a core curriculum infused with math and science connections. Students receive strong instruction in fundamentals with additional enrichment opportunities in math and science.  Teachers use research-based strategies and materials to help students reach their full potential. At Heidelberg, we believe all students can learn, and we strive to create a learning environment which fosters excellence.

Students are provided enrichment opportunities to strengthen their math and science skills.  Clubs, science fairs, on-line and software driven programs, field trips, and outdoor exploration help our students explore the connection between math and science. We strive to provide opportunities for advancement in the classroom, as well as participation in the LEAD program for enrichment of our students.

Students attend math, science, and technology labs on a weekly rotation schedule. Labs reinforce, remediate, and enrich classroom instruction. Computer technology and experiments with various manipulatives help students understand the concepts being taught in the classroom setting.
