
This year’s Spelling Bee Champion is Shamia Hopper (pictured far right), an eighth grader here at Oakhurst Middle School. She will now compete at the Regional Spelling Bee in Memphis, TN. We also wish to congratulate Miss Lamaya Shivers (7th Grade) and Miss Kennetha Sims (6th Grade) for a job well done!

Oakhurst Middle School
Oakhurst Middle School has adopted the theme for math, science, and language immersion. In this unique venture, Oakhurst Middle School will implement advanced math and science curriculum. The science classes will include science laboratories. The language immersion component will feature Spanish classes and math, science, and social studies instruction in Spanish.
